Roger, Wilco, Out: StyleDash

appearance in a nudie suit.
Similarly, we think Style Dash needs a music intervention due to their
apparent ignorance of the Flying

We were browsing through the latest Gargyle stock when we came across this Fred Perry Chambray shirt—call it one more upside to deflation.
Of course, we’ll want something a lot heavier than chambray for the next few months at least, but it never hurts to plan ahead. In this case, it even pays off a little.

Online boutiques are a good idea, but the Black Buoy is the first time we’ve seen three labels with small stocks join together in a single site. It’s a good idea; no one of them would have been able to hold our interest for very long, but together they make up quite a store. Plus, we managed to find this charcoal button-down, from the small Max & Suzanne, and stitched together right here in New York.
The Choosy Beggar turned us onto the site, and has a code that should get you 15% off.

Speaking of neckwear, the New York Garment District stalwarts at Mountain & Sackett are knocking their stock down 50%, which should be a good enough reason to spend a few minutes perusing their wares.
Our favorite is this herringbone cashmere version

Madras has been picking up steam as a look for some time, but it’s still best kept to the fringes of your outfit to keep from overdoing things. Maybe a bowtie or two?
Luckily, the ur-preppy outfitters at J. Press (via ACL) happen to be in the midst of a spring sale, meaning you can walk away with this particular bowtie for less than $40, and plenty of statelier neckties for only a little bit more. And if you have a seersucker jacket handy
it might be time to get it out of storage.

ACL’s Michael Williams and Kempt’s own venerable Randy Goldberg have put together a pop-up this weekend in Nolita, and we couldn’t resist a quick peek at the stock.
The post-Hickey milliners at Hattan have already garnered a bit of press, and you can see the full list here, but our early favorite is the set of vintage gear pulled together by J. Press’s Mark McNairy, including classic Ray-Bans and oxfords direct from the Princeton shop. Call it the literal approach to taking ivy

Pajamas don’t get much respect these days, but if we had to choose a single item of aristocratic gear—aside from a glen plaid three-piece, of course—we’d definitely tend towards sleepwear.
Perusing Paul Stuart’s latest semi-annual sale, for instance, we skipped straight over the silk scarves and point collars and found ourselves drawn to the pajama aisle. Between the bright white piping and the cotton dot fabric, this set might be just about perfect. And depending on how toasty your bedroom is, it might be the perfect time to work them into your nighttime rotation.
