It would remiss of us not to point out when one of our MOTHs oversteps the bounds. Regrettably that’s just what former Talking Head David Byrne did the other night at the annual Webby Awards.
Back in April we lauded his perfectly tailored Paul Smith threads at a Brooklyn Academy of Music bash. At the Webbies however, where he was accompanied by artist Cindy Sherman, he seemed to have abandoned his dress sense. No doubt striving for a summery effect he erred on the side of ice cream vendor mania with a shirt and trouser combo that not even an otherwise palatable white jacket could tame.
David - please get thee to Sir Paul again for some proper summer kit, OK?
