Comic actor Will Smith isn’t typically our beau idéal of a stylish fellow, but we have noticed him turning out in some pretty snazzy threads of late.
Still we were surprised by the boldly checked three-piece Tom Ford suit he wore to the premiere of his new superhero spoof Hancock the other night. We expect this sort of thing from MOTH whiz Daniel Day-Lewis but hardly the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
The suit’s fabric was a seasonally appropriate black-and-white linen and silk blend with a gray overcheck, cut in Ford’s signature single-breasted peak lapel model with a ticket pocket and worn with a classic white shirt and gray pindot tie.
Let’s hope it rubs off on him.
